Differences between Pneumatic Conveying Blowers and Centrifugal Blowers
Release Date:2021-01-10

1. Working Principle: Centrifugal blowers use curved blades and rely on centrifugal force to fling the gas to the casing. In contrast, pneumatic conveying blowers use two figure-eight-shaped blades with minimal clearance between them, compressing the gas and pushing it to the outlet via the pressure exerted by the two blades.

2. Working Pressure: Due to their different working principles, they generally have different operating pressures. Pneumatic conveying blowers typically have higher discharge pressures than centrifugal blowers.

3. Airflow: Pneumatic conveying blowers are used where high pressure and lower airflow are required, whereas centrifugal blowers suit applications requiring lower pressure but higher airflow.

4.Manufacturing Precision: Pneumatic conveying blowers require high precision and strict assembly standards, while centrifugal blowers have relatively lower precision and assembly demands.
