Pneumatic conveying equipment utilizes high-pressure pneumatic transport. The basic principle involves using a pressure transmitter (silo pump) to transfer the energy of compressed air (static pressure and kinetic energy) to the conveyed materials, overcoming various resistances to move the materials to the other end. Pneumatic conveying equipment can be classified into two types based on working pressure: vacuum suction type and pressure delivery type.


The vacuum suction type can be further divided based on the system's vacuum degree into low vacuum (vacuum degree less than 9.8 kPa) and high vacuum (vacuum degree between 40-60 kPa). The pressure delivery type can be divided based on system pressure into high pressure (pressure between (1~7)x10^5 Pa) and low pressure (pressure below 0.5x10^5 Pa). In addition, there are combined systems that include both suction and pressure delivery, closed-loop systems (where air is cycled in a closed circuit and all materials can be fully recovered), and pulse pneumatic conveying systems.
